Pot up herbs for the windowsill

Garden Answers (UK) - - Easy Gardening -

Leafy herbs will start to slow down as temperatures begin to drop. It’s still possible to extend the picking season by digging up clumps of mint, parsley and chives and popping them into pots filled with compost. Cut back any yellowing foliage and keep them in a warm greenhouse or on a bright kitchen windowsill, where they’ll continue to produce fresh leaves over the coming months.
