Q Why is my plant wilting at the tips? VIKKI NEWARK, GREATER MANCHESTER

Garden Answers (UK) - - Problems Solved -

A There’s a fungal disease called clematis wilt that affects large-flowered hybrids, but this is more likely to be the result of your plant suffering from hot, dry soil and insufficient watering in sunny weather. Slugs and snails grazing on young shoots, vine weevils in the soil or rotten roots could also be to blame.
