Q Are pink daffs worth growing? THERESA MILLS, BUCKS

A Pink daffodils have come a long way since the introduction of ‘Mrs R O Backhouse’, before 1921, which is a rather pale, salmon pink. ‘Bell Song’ and ‘Kaydee’ are fine, small daffodils; ‘Pink Paradise’ and ‘Replete’ are larger pink and white doubles and ‘Easter Bonnet’ is a good pink and white trumpet daffodil. ‘Precocious’ and ‘Perfect Lady’ are particularly bright, small-cupped cultivars.
