Q Why were my giant lilies disappointing?

LOUISE BIGGS, PITLOCHRY

A Better known as OT hybrids (Oriental x Trumpet), these giant lilies are very vigorous plants that combine the ease of growth and lime tolerance of Trumpet lilies with the colours and fragrance of the Orientals. They slowly build up to their maximum height – in the first year often only reach 1m (3ft 4in) with four or five flowers. They should double in size and bud count within two years.
