A Toadstools are the fruiting bodies of fungi feeding on dead and decaying material in the soil. They’ll keep producing toadstools until they’ve exhausted this source of food. Mow them off your lawn and hoe them off borders. Then, as their food source is used up they’ll cease to appear.
