DIVIDE PERENNIALS Divide spring-flowering herbaceous perennials, such as hardy geraniums and lady’s mantle (alchemilla), now to give their roots time to establish before the weather turns cold. START PLANTING DAFFODILS Daffodil bulbs need longer in the ground than tulips so plant these over the next few weeks for a long display of spring flowers.
