Step by step

1 Trim off any weak, unhealthy or twiggy growth that gets in the way of a good growing shape.

2 Separate adjoining stems so they’re spaced evenly and can grow up and out effectively.

3 Securely tie in stems under growth buds so new growth has room to grow vertically.

4 Tie in stems all the way up to keep them firm. Try to create a fan shape in your training.
