Lay veg plot access paths

Garden News (UK) - - About Now -

If you access your veg plot regularly during winter, walking on soil when it’s waterlogged or frozen can leave the ground compacted, and your footwear caked in mud. Paths will make life easier. Laying planks of wood is a cheap but unattractive option, but weedsuppressing membrane covered with slate chippings creates a simple, stylish path. Slate chippings are a better alternative to gravel because cats are less likely to use slate-covered areas as a toilet.
