Keep an eye on blooming dahlias and chrysanths

Garden News (UK) - - What To Do This Week -

Chrysanths and dahlias are in full flower, but before all the flowers are cut or they go over, check the labelling on the plants. If labels are in poor condition it’s best to relabel immediately while you still know for certain what they are! Mark the plants that perform best on their labels and save them for stock, especially if you have more plants than you intend to keep. Plants with poor flowers or little vigour should be discarded at the end of their season.
