Harvest young chard
Keep harvesting chard when leaves are young and tender for a constant supply of this useful, easy to grow, tasty and colourful veg. Chard is tastiest and most prolific now – work from the outer leaves in, using the older growth first. Use in stir fries, wilted like spinach, cooked in sauces, or as colour for salads. It’s an easy crop, well worth adding to your yearly growing list.
