Keep harvesting tender crops

-

Many greenhouse crops take weeks to mature while others, such as tomatoes, keep producing until the temperatures really dip. Tomato trusses can be taken indoors to ripen fully, while melons should be harvested and kept in the fridge. Harvest chilli peppers and dry, pickle or store in oil. Aubergines and sweet peppers can stay on the plants, but water sparingly to avoid the fruit rotting.
