New flower show for spring
Get design ideas for any size plot at the new Ascot Spring Garden Show next month. The famous Berkshire racecourse will host six ‘Town & Country’themed show gardens curated by RHS Gold medallist Andrew Fisher Tomlin, and created by leading garden designers such as Kate Gould and Catherine MacDonald. Ascot’s famous Plaza Lawns will have plant stalls from specialist nurseries, while exhibitor stalls will include sculptures and ornaments rarely seen in garden centres along with greenhouses and tools. There’ll also be horticultural advice from staff of The Savill Garden and Valley Gardens at Windsor Great Park. The show runs 13-15 April and tickets cost £16 in advance or £24 on the day – both with free parking and free entry for children. Visit ascot.co.uk/springgarden-show-friday
