Gawthorpe’s ghost garden

Gardeners' World - - We September -

July’s dry weather revealed a 19th-century ‘ghost garden’ at Gawthorpe Hall in Lancashire. The ornamental garden was laid out in the 1860s and removed after World War Two. The outline appears during warm weather. See nationaltrust.org.uk/ gawthorpe-hall
