On the third Sun­day of ev­ery month un­til Au­gust, Cam­bridge Univer­sity Botanic Gar­den is host­ing a free, half-hour Science on Sun­day talk on the lat­est dis­cov­er­ies in plant science. This month, Dr Ed­wige Moy­roud from the univer­sity’s plant re­search unit, the Sains­bury Lab­o­ra­tory, will look into the re­la­tion­ship be­tween plants and pol­li­na­tors and dis­cuss how flow­er­ing plants pat­tern their petals to send vis­ual sig­nals to cru­cial pol­li­nat­ing in­sects.
