Kew’s Tem­per­ate House The stun­ning Tem­per­ate House at the Royal Botanic Gar­dens, Kew, re-opens this month af­ter a five-year restora­tion project that has seen 15,000 panes of glass re­placed. Jupiter Art­land’s 10th An­niver­sary Two new site-spe­cific works have been com­mis­sioned to cel­e­brate the 10th an­niver­sary of Jupiter Art­land, the sculp­ture park in the grounds of Bon­ning­ton House. The first, by Phyl­l­ida Bar­low, will be sited in the wood­land area and opens on 12 May. The sec­ond, by Por­tuguese artist Joana Vas­con­ce­los, is a swim­ming pool in­stal­la­tion for the house’s Ital­ian Gar­den that can be seen from July. Barns­ley Vil­lage Fes­ti­val Don’t miss the chance to visit the Rose­mary Verey-de­signed gar­dens of Barns­ley House.
