Featuring plants, such as rhubarb, elderflower and blackthorn, that are used to flavour gins, this garden for Warner Edwards Northamptonshire gin distillery uses limestone for the dry-stone walls, stepping stones and boulders. A rill of spring water separates a grassy meadow, dotted with herbs, from a sheltered botanical garden, where bespoke copper seats provide seating around a drystone firepit. Copper is also used to retain the bank to the back of the garden. Beyond the freestanding wall, the planting becomes more naturalistic, ending in a native hedge.
