Gardens Illustrated Magazine - - Reader Offer -

There’s still time to sort out your spring planting now to ensure a colourful display later in the year. Award-winning nursery Woottens of Wenhaston offers a great range of perennials including a good selection of Iris sibirica and Hemerocallis. Here are two collections put together especially for Gardens Illustrated readers.

Iris sibirica are clump-forming perennials flowering in early summer. Best grown in a moist soil in sun or partial shade.

Hemerocallis (also known as daylilies) are popular for their burst of rich, summer colour from their trumpet-like blooms. Foliage of some forms is evergreen. Grow in full sun, in well-drained, fertile soil.
