Porthcawl Farmers' Market: The market has relocated to Griffin Park Community Hall in New Road, Porthcawl, and as usual they will be there on the last Saturday of the month, the next being this coming Saturday – May 27.

They will be open from 9.30am-12.30pm, and should you want further informatio­n on stalls, etc, please call Mike Pett on 01656 658 963.

U3A Evening Debates: These debates all commence at 7pm on a Friday night and are all at the Y-centre in John Street. If anyone would like to speak then contact Andrew on Porthcawl 784939.

Volunteers' Week: In celebratio­n of Volunteers’ Week at the beginning of June, Bridgend Associatio­n of Voluntary Organisati­ons (BAVO) will be at the John Street Bandstand in Porthcawl on Tuesday, June 6 and Wednesday, June 7, from 10am-3pm.
