Band con­cert: On Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 14, the Band and Corps of Drums of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines will be per­form­ing at Garw Leisure Cen­tre, Pontycymer, in aid of the Poppy Ap­peal, along with spe­cial guests Maesteg Male Voice Choir and joint choirs from Blaengarw, Ffal­dau & Ys­gol Cwm Garw pri­mary schools.

The con­cert will be­gin at 7.30pm, with doors open at 7pm. Tick­ets cost £3 for chil­dren un­der-16 and £7 for adults, with all pro­ceeds go­ing to the Poppy Ap­peal.
