Shoebox Campaign – The Samaritan’s Purse (Operation Christmas Child) shoebox campaign will shortly be starting and although Christmas seems a long way off, boxes invariably have to be returned and at the depot by mid-November in order to be circulated around the world.
We are already preparing to be involved across the Benefice and anyone interested in filling one or more boxes should speak with either Linda Collier (All Saints – 01656 663 206) or Carys Brown (St David’s and St Teilo’s – 01656 650 685) who are acquiring supplies of flat packed boxes which do not need wrapping.
Further information will be shared as soon as possible.
Fairtrade at Christmas – While on the subject of Christmas please also remember that at the back of All Saints Church, Pen-y-Fai, there is a Fairtrade table complete with catalogues that include a Christmas section.
