LYDIA Hall last weekend tied 39th in the Lacoste Open de France at Gold De Chantaco on the European Ladies Tour, writes Tony Poole.
She shot rounds of 67, 74, 71, 72 for a four over par score of 284 with wireto-wire winner Cristie Kerr (USA) firing 62, 64, 68, 69 to finish 17 under par on 263 and win by four shots from Xi Yu Lin of China.
An opening round of 67 was easily the best for the Pencoed player, who is attached to Hensol Golf Academy and Lynx Golf.
It contained four birdies and one bogey and left in good shape in 11th spot after the opening round.
But she was unable to repeat that form during the three other rounds.
