BRYNTIRION Athletic Junior Girls Football Club have recently welcomed on board two sponsors, writes Tony Poole.
Lensmonkey are backing the U11 team while Industrial Air Power is doing likewise with the U12 and U15 teams.
A passion for photography led to the husband and wife team of Phil and Kate Chappell setting up Bridgend-based Lensmonkey in 2006, and they now cater for weddings as well as corporate video production.
Their clients include the BBC, Channel 4, BT Sport, ITV and Channel 5.
“These days it’s fantastic to see more and more girls playing football,” explained Phil Chappell.
He went on: “We’re delighted to sponsor Bryn- tirion Athletic Girls U11s, as they continue to make progress under a dedicated coaching setup.’’
And Bryntirion Athletic Girls U12 coach Paul Jones is responsible for Industrial Air Power, who are also based in Bridgend, backing the U12 and U15 sides.
He’s a service engineer with the company who are the exclusive compressor distributor for Ingersoll Rand in South Wales.
Industrial Air Power operations manager Mark Minty also attended the photographic shoot.
“We’re grateful to both Lensmonkey and Industrial Air Power for their support, as it makes such a difference to what our dedicated coaches can achieve,” said Nicola Clarke, School Liaison & Events Coordinator with Bryntirion Athletic Girls FC.
