Moth­ers Union: The end of month Eucharist, which was well at­tended, was taken by Fa­ther Philip Mor­ris for the last time and he was pre­sented with a farewell gift in ap­pre­ci­a­tion and thanks to him and Sheila.

Wick Hor­ti­cul­tural Show: The 50th an­nual open veg­etable and flower show was very suc­cess­ful.

Tea & Chat: This reg­u­lar cof­fee morn­ing has restarted af­ter a “spring clean” and all are wel­come from 10.30am to 12noon on Satur­days in St. Brides Ma­jor Church Hall. The Com­mu­nity Li­brary will also be open.

Women’s In­sti­tute: South­ern­down WI next meet­ing at 7.15pm on Thurs­day, Septem­ber 13 in St Brides Ma­jor Church Hall.

An­nual 3 Vil­lages Fun Day: From 1pm on Satur­day, Septem­ber 15 in South­ern­down Cricket Field hosted by Great West­ern CC & South­ern­down Cricket & So­cial Club.
