REUBEN’S RETREAT

Glossop Advertiser - - News -

● team, a drop by Coop HQ, a grotto meeting, and visiting venues for our 2018 event plans.

As a tiny team of four full-time staff, it’s always all hands to the pump, and a full team effort.

Last weekend we had a lovely family visit us from Yorkshire, staying at the lodge for a much-needed break to remember and rebuild.

It was lovely to meet them and we feel honoured that they chose to share their remembering at Reuben’s.

Thank you Liz and Ian at Panaderia for looking after them too.

Last week we were also busy talking to companies that wish to hire our function space for management meetings, lunches and team building.

A beautiful space which also helps with our income when it isn’t booked out for families.

This weekend we host family work there too.

If you take a look at our Facebook page, you should now be able to see our event photo albums for Swing afternoon tea and the #REUBall.

Also new events have been loaded there too.

Thanks this week go to: Williams Deli, Glossop Caravans, Millbrook Chippy, Longdendale class 9GM, Mrs and Mrs Bohan for the open garden, UFO Ladies, Earlybird Nursery, Greenfield Primary, Glossop Pointing, Dave the locksmith at Key Cabin.

Thinking of Margaret Raven’s family at this sad time, thank you for your kind donations.

This week cars head across Europe for the travel trade crusade.

Wishing everyone good luck and a safe passage, including our supporters Jayne Peirce Recruitment.

Also good luck to the ‘Powsers’ and thank you Paul for my yellow roses.
