CITY have made it plain that Sergio Aguero will not be sold this summer despite talk of ‘strong’ Chelsea interest.

The Blues have become increasingly tired of rebutting suggestions that Kun – who has a contract with them until 2020 – may leave this summer.

But Chelsea appear willing to test City’s resolve, especially with the Blues still in the hunt for £80m-rated Alexis Sanchez.

City have consistently refused to put a price on Aguero’s head, simply saying he is not available at any price.

That looked questionable six months ago when Aguero was dropped and, unusually, twice stopped to talk to reporters and suggest he was unsure of his future.

But after a strong finish to the season, scoring 15 goals in his last 17 games, both he and City made it plain he was going nowhere.

On the last day of the season he told reporters he was staying, shortly after manager Pep Guar- diola had made it clear.

When asked in May if Aguero was staying, chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak said: “Absolutely. There has never been a doubt about that.”

City have re-affirmed that nothing has changed since Khaldoon made the remark.
