Global R’n’B superstar Jason Derulo is coming to Manchester as part of a UK arena tour next March. The seven UK shows form the UK leg of his world tour - and Manchester Arena is his first stop on March 15. In the UK, Jason Derulo has topped the charts with four number one smash hit singles in the shape of In My Head, Don’t Wanna Go Home, Talk Dirty and Want To Want Me. In addition, he has also landed another eight Top 10 hits including his 2009 debut Whatcha Say, a feature on Little Mix’s Secret Love Song, and this year’s Swalla which features Nicki Minaj and has already passed 383 million streams on Spotify. Brandy Clark RNCM, October 22 She started her music career in 2005, as a songwriter, creating tracks such as Miranda Lambert’s Mama’s Broken Heart. She released her debut album, 12 Stories, in 2013 and her latest album, Big Day in a Small Town, was released in June 2016. Now, Brandy Clark has confirmed a UK tour for October and will be heading to Manchester on 22 of the month. Gordi Night and Day Manchester, November 8
Aussie songstress Gordi has had plenty of success since her first appearance on Triple J Unearthed, with her recent career taking her around the world with some of 2017’s most adored folk artists. Since 2013, she has managed to release and support her Clever Disguise EP, as well as collaborating with luminaries as Bon Iver, Of Monsters and Men and Alex Somers, all while completing a medical degree at UNSW. Grime artist Jaykae has announced his first tour - performing in Manchester, London and Birmingham. Jaykae – real name Janum Khan – played his biggest gig yet last year when he did a 600-strong sell-out show at the O2 Academy. He is now heading to Reading and Leeds Festivals at the end of August before embarking on a tour in December. Robert Plant Manchester 02 Apollo, November 30
Robert Plant has announced a tour of the UK and Ireland at the end of this year, and he’ll be bringing a taste of rock and roll to Manchester. The singer of Led Zeppelin, who has released 11 solo albums, as well as acclaimed collaborations with Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Alison Krauss, will perform at the O2 Apollo on November 30. The tour takes Plant through Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic, finishing up at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall on December 12. He’ll be performing tracks from the new album, Carry Fire, as well as tracks from the past to give you a blast of nostalgia. The Rocket Summer Manchester Club Academy, November 3
The Rocket Summer, aka Bryce Avary, will bring his Do You Feel 10th anniversary celebratory tour to Manchester this autumn. Currently touring North America, Avary has lined up stops at just five British venues, and he’ll play the Manchester Club Academy as one of them on November 3.
