Late win proves Blues mean business
CITY’S players will ‘do anything’ to bring their fans more wins.
That is the assertion of Kevin de Bruyne as the Blues take on the challenge of being Premier League title favourites with relish.
City grabbed three late points at Bournemouth and although Raheem Sterling’s red card left a bitter taste, De Bruyne says the Blues loved enjoying the moment with the travelling supporters.
“I think the fans can see that we will try anything to win the game and the extra two points meant a lot,” he said. “Everybody now is very fresh and everybody is prepared to be close. I think when more games have been played, they will be more open because of fatigue. I don’t think anybody is feeling tired now.”
