Sha­nia Twain, Manch­ester Arena Septem­ber 22 Multi-plat­inum, multi-award-win­ning Sha­nia Twain has an­nounced a UK and Ire­land arena tour -the first time she has toured here in 13 years. Fol­low­ing re­cent per­for­mances on Strictly Come Danc­ing and The One Show, as well as the Ra­dio 2 Break­fast Show with Chris Evans, Sha­nia feels “it’s time to get back out there and give the mu­sic a chance to live a life”, and so will em­bark on her first UK & Eire tour since 2004’s huge Up! Tour. She plays Manch­ester Arena on Satur­day, Septem­ber 22.

The cel­e­bra­tion of the huge Com­edy Cen­tral UK show will take place at Heaton Park from Au­gust 3 -12. The Magic Gang, Manch­ester Al­bert Hall Septem­ber 27 After hav­ing fin­ished one jaunt across the coun­try last week, newly-minted Top 20 stars The Magic Gang have an­nounced details of an­other UK tour. The band - whose self-ti­tled al­bum reached Num­ber 12 on the UK Al­bum Charts - will be­gin at Birm­ing­ham’s In­sti­tute on Septem­ber 22, and fin­ish at Keele Univer­sity on Oc­to­ber 4. Gary Nu­man, Manch­ester Bridge­wa­ter Hall Novem­ber 17 Synth-rock su­per­star Gary Nu­man has an­nounced a new UK tour for 2018. The pi­o­neer of elec­tronic mu­sic will per­form a string of dates dur­ing Novem­ber, in­clud­ing a date in Manch­ester. The six-date stint will see the new wave icon re­turn to the stage to Call ASH Visit www.new­mar­ket.travel/ash16030 pro­mote his lat­est al­bum along­side sup­port­ing act The Ska­paris Orches­tra. The Cars singer, who turns 60 this year, is cel­e­brat­ing 40 years in mu­sic, along with his army of ul­tra­de­voted fans known as Nu­manoids.

Bax­ter Dury, Manch­ester O2 Ritz Novem­ber 8 Bax­ter Dury has an­nounced five more UK tour dates for 2018 - in­clud­ing one in Manch­ester. The new run of shows kicks off at Sh­effield Plug on Novem­ber 6, with Dury re­turn­ing to Scot­land to per­form at Glas­gow’s SWG3 the fol­low­ing night. He re­turns south to play Manch­ester’s O2 Ritz and Bris­tol’s SWX, fin­ish­ing the five-date tour at Lon­don’s O2 Shep­herd’s Bush Em­pire on Novem­ber 10.

Blos­soms, Stock­port Plaza May 5 Blos­soms have an­nounced details of a new al­bum and UK tour, in­clud­ing AN­OTHER huge show at the Stock­port Plaza. The Stock­port band will per­form at Stock­port Plaza - and have just added a mat­inée show. To cel­e­brate the new al­bum, the Vir­gin EMI signed five-piece are em­bark­ing on a six-date tour, which kicks off in their home­town on May 4, be­fore tak­ing in Leeds, New­cas­tle, Lon­don, Manch­ester, and fin­ish­ing in Nor­wich on May 12.

Fuzzy Sun, Manch­ester Soup Kitchen May 19 Stock­port new­com­ers Fuzzy Sun have an­nounced an in­ti­mate gig at Manch­ester Soup Kitchen this Spring, along­side some other huge shows. The band’s new sin­gle Want Love was mixed and pro­duced by fel­low Stock­port stars, Blos­soms, who they’ll be sup­port­ing on their UK tour this May. The band will also be per­form­ing at Cot­ton Clouds Fes­ti­val in Sad­dle­worth this Au­gust.

James Mar­tin On the Road Again, Manch­ester Opera House Oc­to­ber 11 Celebrity chef James Mar­tin is cook­ing up a treat this Oc­to­ber - serv­ing up an 18 date im­mer­sive tour. On the Road Again sees James bring­ing the ex­pe­ri­ences of his hit TV shows French Ad­ven­ture, Amer­i­can Ad­ven­ture and Satur­day Morn­ing with James Mar­tin to the live stage. James’s cook­ing skills will be on dis­play, show­ing off his skill, speed and dex­ter­ity, and of course his usual un­abashed hu­mour.
