FAMILIES exploring Cheltenham can enjoy free travel for kids this summer.

Stagecoach West has launched summer ticket deals on bus travel around Cheltenham.

Throughout August, the bus operator will be providing offers for customers who use Cheltenham’s park-and-ride services from Arle Court and the Racecourse.

Stagecoach West managing director Rupert Cox said: “What better time to get out and explore all of the many attractions and events Cheltenham has to offer with our great value ticket deals from the park-and-ride sites.”

The deal means an adult who buys a Cheltenham Dayrider ticket for £3.70 can be accompanied by up to two children under the age of 16 free.

To help customers save even more money, they will also be able to buy five Cheltenham dayrider tickets for the price of four on the Stagecoach Bus App.

This offer is available until August 31 via the Stagecoach Bus App; however, tickets will be valid for use up to three months from the purchase date.

Stagecoach West officially launched its summer ticket deals with a fun event on Cheltenham’s Promenade, with a samba band, clowns and free ice creams for the public who were also able to look around a new Stagecoach Gold bus.

Stagecoach West began operating Cheltenham’s Arle Court park-and-ride service earlier this year.
