KEY TECHNOLOGY The non-adjustable M2 fairway has a carbon composite crown that saves weight and repositions it in more desirable areas to increase launch and forgiveness. A larger, more open Speed Pocket increases ball speeds on shots struck low on the face and also helps reduce spin. A fluted hosel saves weight and improves the feel and acoustics.

GM REVIEW Looks The M2 fairway has a low profile and mid-to-small head size at address. It’s arguably not the most confidence inspiring to look down on but is still easy to align, thanks to the contrast between the black face and white front section. Performance The M2 fairway wood provides distance and versatility without losing out on trajectory or forgiveness. What strikes you instantly is the incredibly hot feel off the face. It’s solid and actually quite firm, and creates slightly muted acoustics, but is still very powerful. This doesn’t really change when hitting off the deck. The trajectory is similar to that off the tee and carry distance only came down by a few yards during testing. Performance from the fairway was particularly impressive, with shots struck low on the face coming off fast and on a similar launch angle. This is encouraging when hitting into par 5s, but the relatively low spin means the M2 fairway is an excellent option off the tee as well. Consider this You may want a fairway wood with a larger profile.

VERDICT It’s long, forgiving and versatile. Most golfers will find they can hit all the shots they need to with this club.
