FITTER ANALYSIS Joss was hitting his 4-iron well, carrying it 190 yards, but he’s never got on with woods and hit a hybrid he’s been borrowing low and a similar distance. Using the King Utility in its 18.5° setting, he was not only much more consistent but also carrying it perfectly to fill his gap at 224 yards. It had a higher ball flight than his hybrid, which will make holding the green on long shots much easier.
Before I picked it up I thought the King Utility would be too chunky, but I actually found it a lot more confidence inspiring than the Baffler and it just suited my swing better. The 18.5° setting gave me the right numbers for now, but I love the fact that if I ever want to add a 3-wood to my set, I can just adjust it to take a few yards off.
