KEY TECH Four popular putters have been custom-designed as 33in models Players who want feel and balance in a shorter putter HOW MUCH £320 AIMED AT

Golf Monthly - - Gm Promotion -

If you’re one of the many golfers who prefer the feel or set-up of a shorter putter, then Scotty Cameron might just have struck gold.

Scotty's latest line of putters – the Cameron & Crown range – offers four popular models precisely redesigned to a 33in length.

They boast the same craftsmanship as the full-length range, but are custom-designed to 33 inches. This means they have properly weighted heads and smaller-diameter grips.

It’s a configuration that delivers the correct swing weight, feel and balance – a blend that is often affected when longer putters are cut down.

All four models feature a specially designed Silver Mist treatment, with new sole graphics incorporating an elegant white, gold, silver and black colour scheme.

“Each year I receive requests for 33in putters,” Scotty Cameron told GM, “so we wanted to call special attention to the importance of weight and length and create a unique offering for those players.”

The resulting putters are available from October 21 with an RRP of £320.

The four models available are the Select Newport 2, Select Newport M2, Golo 5 and Futura X5R (above)
