The fight to supply Team Europe’s Ryder Cup outerwear is always hotly contested, and many fans will be happy to see that not only has Galvin Green come out on top this time, but also that the fruits of its labours are now available to the golfing public.

The waterproof suit was selected by Darren Clarke, and is joined by a short-sleeved top and a windstopper.

Galvin Green has made the Ryder Cup C-KNIT jacket ultra-lightweight at 260g, with a stretch Gore-Tex fabric providing mobility and protection. It also has a smooth feel to help it glide on over your clothes.

The three-layer construction adds durability, with the adjustable cuffs and waist allowing a perfect fit. The jacket is also available in a short-sleeved version, with both models featuring the European flag on the neck, plus the official Ryder Cup shield on the chest.

Matching waterproof trousers weigh in at 350g and are made from the same ultra-lightweight stretch Gore-Tex fabric.

They have water-repellent zips on the front pockets and leg openings, and two covered back pockets to aid practicality. An elasticated waist with a drawstring ensures a good fit, with a silhouette of the Ryder Cup trophy adding style.

A Soft-Shell Gore Windstopper complements the other garments, with a windproof membrane and a moisture-management inner layer making it a versatile option.
