Manage your ‘miss’

Golf World (UK) - - TOUR TIPS -

As Jordan Spieth has demonstrated so well at Augusta, the quality of your ‘misses’ determine how well you score. It’s easy to stand over a long approach into a par-5 and simply aim at the green, but you really need to play the percentages and think about where you want to miss. An uphill long-range chip, for example, will give you a better chance of making birdie than a slick 15-foot downhill putt.
