‘Pitch with your upper body for more spin and consistency’

Golf World (UK) - - TOUR TIPS - JAMES MORRISON

The average punter tries to get the ball up in the air and they’re obsessed with spin. You need loft and speed to spin the ball, but most amateurs haven’t got the technique to do that because of the way they try to achieve clubhead speed. They use their arms and hands, but you’ll create more clubhead speed and a more consistent delivery by using your upper body to power the shot and keeping your arms pretty passive.
