Head down through impact

Golf World (UK) - - TOUR TIPS -

My father (a club champion) taught me the fundamentals of the swing and he stressed keeping my head down and eyes on the ball until contact. This causes my head to dip a little as I move into the ball and it’s one of the keys to my ball-striking. My hips also slow through impact and my arms whip through the hitting zone, similar to Rory McIlroy. It may look like an aggressive swing but keeping my head down through impact a little longer than most gives me control.
