Focus on getting the clubhead coming into the ball on a very steep angle about an inch behind the ball. Hit down and a little to the left as hard as you can. You need to remove a lot of sand in order to get the ball out. The steepness of your swing will naturally curtail the length of your follow-through. The ball will come out with virtually no backspin, so it’s likely to run a long way on landing. Take that into account and aim at a point where your next shot will be as easy as possible.
