The previous RTX-3 model was created to perform for every level of golfer when it was released two years ago. But the introduction of the cavity-back CBX wedge last year, designed for mid and high-handicappers who use cavity back irons, has led to a corresponding specialist wedge for the blade user – the RTX-4.

The head profile is more compact than its predecessor, with the lower lofts featuring a straighter leading edge to blend into your irons and the higher lofts having a more traditional slightly curved leading edge.

Progressive Feel Balancing Technology has been taken to the next level by moving the CG behind the ideal strike location for each specific loft with unique muscle shaping on the back of the head. This gives better feel, control and consistency – even when you miss the centre of the face.

There are four sole grinds. The Full is a traditional midbounce, the Mid is a V-shaped sole cut with trailing edge relief, the Low is a C-shape grind that has heel and toe relief for ultimate versatility and the XLow is the lowest bounce option for tight lies and hitting with a very open face.
