CELEBRATING 25 YEARS ON TV
After a string of jobs, including working as a male model booker, Davina got her big TV break in 1992 with an MTV show.
By 1998 Davina was presenting the successful reality dating programme, Streetmate, on Channel 4.
Before The X Factor and The Voice we had Popstars, which Davina hosted in 2001.
In 2000, Davina anchored the new Channel 4 reality show Big Brother. Her down-to-earth interview style made her synonymous with the show, and she hosted Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother until 2010.
Fronting The Biggest Loser tapped into her rise as a fitness queen. Davina’s bestselling exercise DVDS led to her writing her own healthy cookbooks.
Alongside former DJ Nicky Campbell, she co-hosts the BAFTA award-winning Long Lost Family, reuniting relatives who had been separated for many years. Davina drew on her own life to bring empathy to the show.
As someone who is prepared to push herself to her physical limits, Davina seemed the natural choice to front the Alpine-set reality show, The Jump, on Channel 4.
