THE HAIR

Sarah-jayne decided she wanted a big change, so stylist Steph at Daniel Galvin cut 15 inches off her hair. Trimming it into a collarbone-length style really frames Sarah-jayne’s face. To take her from auburn to golden blonde, Saskia used multi-tonal highlights, which create a natural-looking colour.

THE MAKE-UP

To conceal patches of redness, make-up artist Liz Hudson prepped Sarah-jayne’s skin with Bareminerals Complexion Rescue Gel Cream, £28, before adding more coverage with a liquid foundation. The subtle warmth of a shimmery bronzer – dusted across temples, cheekbones and jawline – complemented her new hair colour. A pale-pink blusher applied on the apples of her cheeks created a subtle glow.

THE CLOTHES

On-trend burgundy complements Sarah-jayne’s skin, while the tonal jacket creates the illusion of length and keeps the look modern.

THE RESULT

‘I’m thrilled with my new style, it looks so natural,’ says Sarah-jayne. ‘Having full make-up made me feel great – I usually just use mascara. When you feel invisible for a long time, it’s great to be in the limelight. I’m going to take everything I’ve learnt and bring some glamour back into my life.’
