We’ve got so much time for…

LEAKING YOUR own nudes is generally reserved for structured reality stars and Dappy, whose ‘tripod’ pic still populates the darker recesses of our nightmares (Sorry, Dappy. Also, tidy your room for God’s sake). So, we were more than a little confused when headlines announced that Sia had done just that. After all, despite being one of the world’s most successful songwriters, writing hits for Rihanna, Beyoncé, Adele and others when she’s not busy shifting millions of her own records – she’s renowned for being one of the A-list’s most private stars. She obscures her face with masks and wigs and doesn’t even appear in her own music videos, so how did she end up publishing a naked picture of herself on Twitter? Her surprising move came after a picture agency apparently shopped 15 long lens images to the highest bidder. In response, Sia posted one of the pictures herself, captioning it, ‘Someone is apparently trying to sell naked photos of me to my fans. Save your money, here it is for free.’ The best bit? Her cheery sign-off: ‘Everyday is Christmas’, which just happens to be the title of her forthcoming album. Neutralising the threat of an unscrupulous paparazzo while casually promo-ing your new record? What. A. Woman.

Now you Sia… the post on her Twitter account
