FRIENDSHIP NEVER ENDS!

As a mum, I felt moved to respond to Celine Smith’s recent article about mums treating husbands as an extra child. My non-mum close friend constantly cancelled lunches with me. After hours of preparation to get out of the house on time to a much-looked-forward-to catch-up with my friend, the cancellations, sometimes last minute, really hurt and angered me. Her inability to value me as a friend reached breaking point and I ended the friendship. Someone who behaves in that way does it regardless of circumstances. Rudeness should be called out, please don’t blame the husbands and children! Marie
