Jaipur, India

This stunning gate is one of four exquisitely- designed entrances that adorn the third courtyard of the 18th- century City Palace, one of the many decorative and colourful buildings that make Jaipur such a memorable destination. Each palace door celebrates a season and this one is the Leheriya (waves) gate, representing spring. The palace is made up of a number of courtyards and gardens, and while parts of it are a museum open to the public, it also continues to be the residence of the maharajahs of Jaipur. They’re in when the flag is flying. royaljaipur.in
