THE PROPERTY

A two/three-bedroom first-floor flat in a Victorian building in London. ‘It had been rented by three guys who hadn’t looked after it,’ says Skye. ‘You needed a lot of imagination to see it as a place to live in, but it was really light, airy and spacious.’ It may have looked awful but no structural work was needed and so Skye was able to clean it up and get decorating. Having grown up in Venice, and living half the year there still, this flat has touches of the city she calls home. ‘Life in Venice is quite peaceful whereas in London we entertain a lot,’ she says.
