I have watched it since I was a child and I cry every time, mostly because of how stylish and amazing Laurence Olivier is. His charisma and whole aura is what makes the movie so brilliant. He is hopelessly in love and it is so painful to watch. The moments before she dies and he fills her arms with heather! I also love the country scenery. The romance of it all totally informs my clothing. There is no more powerful way to showcase the impact of clothing than to set it in emotion, in drama.’
