Peace Happy

Four shabby boys from Worcester have certainly outdone themselves this time around. All that time on the road has seen them perfect feel good indie pop, as their second album is packed full of upbeat jangly tunes. Peace sound like The Supernaturals in their slovenly delivery, the Longpigs without the downers and, most obviously, Oasis. Tracks like Lost On Me verge on disco, while Perfect Skin is a brilliant pop take on body issues. Oh You takes some overly happy and hippyish sentiments and throws them down over a caribbean sounding backing. It’s an album that more than lives up to it’s title.
