Finding Dory Out now

GT (UK) - - CULTURE -

Picking Pixar’s most DAW-able character is like deciding which Golden Girl you’d date. Impossible. But we’re fairly sure that Finding Nemo’s adorably it’s no surprise that, 13 years on, there’s still a huge appetite for the continued aquatic adventures of one of Pixar’s most beloved movies ever. While Finding Dory doesn’t quite reach the same heights as its predecessor, it’s still an captured and taken to a Californian aquarium, sparking a rescue mission from and introduces an array of colourful, crazy new ones. While the majority of plot beats are eerily similar (unfortunately for Pixar’s writing team, we don’t all have Dory-esque short-term memories), Finding Dory is still stuffed with emotionally complex storytelling, memorable characters, top-tier gags and spectacular animation. Moving, hilarious and reminiscent of Pixar at its best.
