Youngsters get curried away
PUPILS tucked into a tasty treat as visiting chef’s took over the school kitchen to prepare an Indian feast.
Classes 3T and 3C at Ash Green primary school, Mixenden, Halifax, tucked into starters, poppadoms and chicken curry made by touring chefs from The Village restaurant, Sowerby Bridge.
One of the members of staff who accompanied the children said the visit had been really enjoyable.
“The kids got lots out of it, she said.
“It was a real experience for the kids to try something new, enjoy a new life experience and have some quality food.”
