Gome on down - and let’s cheer on the boys back into the Football League. That’s the message this weekend to supporters of FC Halifax Town as the club bids to reach the promotion play-offs and a possible date at Wembley next month. The Shaymen play their final Skrill Premiership league game tomorrow at home to Kidderminster knowing a prized play-off position will be guaranteed with a win or a draw.

And if Town lose, it would still take a nine-goal swing in goal difference for sixth-placed Braintree, who have to beat Grimsby, to stand any chance of catching Neil Aspin’s side.

The game against Kidderminster kicks off at 5.30pm tomorrow - with the first leg of the play-off semi- finals either next Wednesday or Thursday.
