Halifax- based Polar Fish Books are to provide an on-demand catalogue of cloud-hosted, third party try-and-buy services for schools around the world.

Polar Fish Books provide support for children’s reading through a library of online interactive fiction books that have embedded exercises, quizzes and activities to enhance children’s learning and support their reading development.

They are working with Californian business EduTone, who provide cloud-based educational services for schools.

Paul Flack, managing director of Polar Fish Books, said: “By providing an exciting, secure environment to select products that make a real difference to children’s learning in the classroom, EduTone is leading the way with their EduTone SSO Marketplace, part of Intel Education.

“As a content provider that really cares about its reputation for high quality, we were delighted to be invited to join the marketplace.

“Our subscribers get the opportunity to look at what else is on offer while we are able to provide the SSO Marketplace users’ fantastic offers and free trials.”

Julian Mobbs, CEO of EduTone, said: “We are thrilled to have Polar Fish Books as part of the EduTone SSO Marketplace.

“They have really done a great job integrating everything seamlessly.”
